The menu redesign translated that refreshed identity into a functional, guest-friendly experience. Information hierarchy, spacing, and typography were carefully considered to make ordering intuitive while reinforcing Brasil’s personality and sense of place. The result is a menu system that feels elevated yet familiar — supporting clarity, usability, and consistency across touchpoints, while staying true to Brasil’s Montrose roots and longstanding commitment to quality, people, and interaction.

The brand refresh for Brasil was approached with deep respect for its history as one of Houston’s first specialty coffee shop and a cornerstone of the Montrose neighborhood since 1992. The goal was not to reinvent Brasil, but to refine it — clarifying the visual language while preserving the character, warmth, and cultural relevance that longtime patrons recognize. Through updated typography, color usage, and layout systems, the refreshed identity brings a more cohesive and contemporary expression to a brand rooted in community and craft
